TSE International designs and manufactures conductor-handling equipment for use in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution lines, and telecommunications/fiber optic projects. 

Position Summary

Performs all types of industrial shot blasting work and industrial painting. Prepares various surfaces for blasting by washing, scraping, or other means as necessary. The job description is to be used as a guideline only and may not incorporate all functions of the job.

Essential Job Functions includes the following, but are not limited to:


  • Mixes, matches, and blends various paints and special protective coatings to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties
  • Caulks holes and cracks
  • Properly use and maintain paint recycler and paint booth
  • Paints equipment using brush, spray gun and conventional and airless spray systems
  • Check and document humidity, dew point and mill thickness per quality standards


  • Remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt to impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment
  • Turn valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle or into tumbling barrel
  • Mask specified areas of object to protect from abrasives
  • All blasting must be cleaned of slag prior to painting
  • Examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Properly maintain and use sand blasting equipment, power washer, power-industrial truck
  • Operate forklift to transport material to blast booth
  • Check and document parts for blast profile, humidity and dew point


  • Effectively mix paint, hardener, and other additives
  • Paint equipment with limited to no painting errors (runs, drips, missing areas)
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with team
  • Ability to carry out written and/or oral instructions independently
  • Ability to make independent decisions regarding troubleshooting
  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to safely use carts, dollies and hoists to move products / parts
